“ We decided to get a quick bite to eat as we did some Xmas shopping in downtown Pdx. First the service was amazing. Our guy was both the bartender and our server. He was very personable, efficient, and quick witted and made our experience so much better We kinda did a family style thing by sharing the Caesar salad, garlic focaccia (a little salty), and the meatballs. All very good. I think the meatballs were my favorite. Then we finished off with some shrimp scampi. It was cute and it really met our needs. Drop in sometime and check it out for yourself. ”

“ We went to il Solito two mornings out of our four night stay at the Kimpton. Not only was the food delicious and very dry affordable, but the service was wonderful. Johnny visited with us both days and remembered us upon return! He also makes the best lattes in town - we even stopped by on a third day just to get some coffee to go. Definitely give the French toast a try, the berry compote is incredible. The breakfast burrito and standard breakfast were both great. Whether you’re staying at the hotel or a local, this is a great casual spot that feels like home. ”
